hi
ridge, creator of cReader (the add-in that allows you to read Chinese in Rex600) has got exciting news for you.
here's what he told me:
" I have found the way to store all the fonts inside firmware without touch those blank pages, but still need to implement it. Another change might be using an outside filter running on PC to format the Chinese text so it could be displayed correctly in cMemo, then I only need to modify cMemo instead of creating a new one. "
i think this is quite a breakthrough in Rex add-in development.
and he also said:
"I will not use those blank pages, so adder and those firmware patches which use the blank pages should still work."
too good to be true? well, let's hope it will become reality soon. many thanks in advance, ridge!

I dnot know why but i cannot visit http://www.geocities.com/ridgeren/creader.html . Mybe Chinese gov has blank off the page, I hate that........., I m really insterested in this addin
