My workplace has recently done a migration from Outlook 2003 to Outlook 2007 and I find that I cannot sync anymore with Outlook. Intellisync bombs during synchronization. Also now, any attempts to tweak the Intellisync's configuration, regarding Outlook, make Intellisync to bomb.
I am using old outlook.pst data file with old format. In fact, I have even copied the old data file to the old location, from backup, and did not allow Outlook 2007 to touch it, but Intellisync still bombed. Next, I have suppressed the loading of a piece of Office into memory at the system startup. Intellisync still has bombed. I have uninstalled Rex software and reinstalled it, hopefully cleanly enough, but Intellisync still continued to bomb. I wonder whether Intellisync might be looking for something in the registry that is not there anymore.
I have one more computer with Outlook 2003 and will be looking for potential info inside registry on that computer, but, at the moment, I have no access to that computer. I would appreciate any suggestions for resolving this, in the meantime. For now, I am synchronizing with Intellisync Mobile Desktop. |
