| Even though there isn't a big strain on the server as it is, I am trying the file cache feature and see if it does anything. This is transparent to you, but it basically compiles the templates used so it doesn't have to do it every time you request a page. I'm basically doing this to see if it reduces the number of database queries or if there's a difference in the speed. If I don't see a big difference in either one of those I'll get rid of it and save the disk space. Let me know in the poll if you notice a difference. |
