| I ordered a Rex 6000 from Gaston Mugnie from an advertizement on this forum and sent him a money order on March 12, 2005. When I called him sometime later he said that although he received the money order he was very busy and he would send the Rex as soon as he had some time. It is now over 2 months later and no Rex 6000. Has anyone else had the same experience with him? Was this a scam? Since he was registered on this forum I am hoping that someone can help. |

| No Rex. I telephoned the seller and got his voice mail. I left a message that since it is more than 10 weeks since I sent him a money order to either deliver the Rex or return my money. I have not received a reply. Perhaps he will respond to this forum. Is there a better way to get in touch with him through this forum so that he knows that everyone on the forum is aware of his delaying tactics? |

I am sorry that you've had problems with your order through Gaston Mugnier. I know that a number of Forum members received orders from him without running into troubles, but I personally have not dealt with him.
You can try sending him a "Private Message" in addition to sending him an email and leaving your phone message, but there are no further options that I am aware of. I think you are making other Forum visitors and members aware of the situation by posting here as you are doing.
Registration on this Forum is open to anyone and registrations are not reviewed, so the fact that someone is registered here and posts here does not reflect any particular approval by the Forum owner or moderators. But naturally everyone hopes that the people who post here will all be reliable, helpful, and trustworthy, and to my knowledge no one has ever been removed or banned from the Forum except for periodic MAPS-site-spammers.
Hopefully your dispute will be resolved soon and it will turn out to have been simply a misunderstanding or understandable delay. Please keep us informed of the status.
