I always loved the size of the rex6000 but my concern is with the batt life i know it uses those small batteries that can be very expensive and i not sure if i'll be willing to pay the price of owning this pda by having to buy batteries like all the time. So my question is how long will a set of batt last under general usage and under heavy usage like taking notes all day, using the address book, etc. |

The batteries under "normal" use should last you at least 6 months, could even be longer. As for the price, look for them on ebay, You can but 10 or 20 of them on there, and be set for a few years |

Not sure where you are from but in UK RS components and farnell supply the batteries, I find they typically last about 3-4 months but then I use the rex alot,
try
www.farnell.co.uk
typically they are from £0.84 to £1.40 so a years supply will get you back £6.72 - £11.20 not bad really when you think journada's require a CR2032 just for backup as well as a rechargable that will die in a couple of years
