Hi All,
I sure could use an example of how to read a memo that is a comma delim data file.
Pointers to 'correct' data input/output is also appreciated. A feature is to be able to move the memo to the desktop for fullscale anaylsis and reporting (thus the comma delim format)
I am looking at 'Not a Spreadsheet' as an example, but I don't think he does what I want.
I am using RexDk.
Thanks. |

Not a spreadsheet will NOT do what you wanted. I gave up trying ro read and write data files!
However, ROO has something similar to what you are doing. I'm sure he could help you out. Go see his MINIDATA program which is a CSV file reader and writer I think.

Yes thats true, my idea is modeled on the minidata idea of a CSV data file.
However, I don't recall the source being distributed with it. I am still wrestling with this BTW.
If someone could outline the corect DS calls, perhaps that might help.
Maybe it will click with me soon.
